Great food and beer, perfect for a long weekend. The room was comfortable and the breakfast had a good variety. The pub had a nice atmosphere and the staff were friendly. The hotel was located in a beautiful area, with easy access to nearby attractions. a fabulous experience.

The customer service was shockingly awful. The staff were rude and unprofessional, especially the manager.

From the moment we arrived, we felt welcome and well taken care of. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, providing excellent service throughout our stay. The room was comfortable and cozy, with a lovely fire to add to the atmosphere. The food offered was of great quality and the breakfast was particularly delicious. I recently had a fantastic stay at this hotel in a beautiful snowy location. The rooms were clean and comfortable with a large bathroom offering breathtaking views of the surrounding countryside. The attention to detail was evident throughout, from the friendly and helpful staff to the delicious breakfast that set us up for the day. The hotel's close proximity to local tourist spots was a definite bonus, allowing us to easily explore the nearby Hawkshead and catch a bus to the lakes.

The noise from the street in the early morning was unbearable. Additionally, the shower water pressure was very low making shower time quite frustrating.

Breakfast to die for, could barely move afterwards. The staff were so lovely and welcoming, made me feel right at home. Plus, the beer garden is charming, perfect for sipping my lager and enjoying the elusive Lake District sunshine.

The room could use a touch-up, but who needs a functioning bathroom door or decent water pressure anyway?

There was one small issue with the breakfast. While the cooked breakfast was tasty, there were some minor shortcomings, such as thin slices of black pudding and a small portion of fried bread.
