We absolutely loved our stay at this hotel! The rooms were spacious and beautifully lit, perfect for us as vegetarians and vegans. The beds were incredibly comfortable and the staff went above and beyond to help us. The location is ideal and we can't wait to come back!

The hotel also had a beautiful terrace with garden furniture, where we could relax and enjoy the lovely weather.

I was incredibly impressed with my stay at Parkgate. When I requested to store my breastmilk in their freezer, they went above and beyond by installing a brand new freezer in my room. This level of care and understanding for working and nursing moms is exceptional and sets a new standard for hotels. I am grateful to the management for making my work trip less stressful.

As a couple, we had a wonderful stay in a beautiful hotel located in the heart of the city center. The hotel, housed in an impressive former post office, offers a great location for easy access to the Princpality stadium and nearby attractions. Our room was comfortable and well-appointed, with an extremely comfortable bed, plush pillows, and a lovely walk-in shower. The staff were friendly and attentive, ensuring we had everything we needed for a pleasant stay. The breakfast was delicious, with a variety of locally sourced Welsh products. We also enjoyed the spa facilities on the top floor, which provided a relaxing and rejuvenating experience. The only downside was that slippers were not initially provided with the robes in the spa, but the reception quickly rectified this issue. we highly recommend this hotel for its excellent location, comfortable rooms, friendly staff, and enjoyable amenities.

Great city stay! the hotel was close to the main shopping centre and the bar street was literally around the corner. it was just a 2-minute walk to the stadium, which was perfect for the event we attended. the hotel's decor was stunning, featuring an old classic style building in the city centre.

Although the room was clean, it was quite small and there was no pool.

I had a fantastic stay at Parkgate! The location was perfect for exploring the city and the hotel itself was beautiful. The room was luxurious, with all the amenities I needed and it was well sound-proofed, ensuring a peaceful night's sleep. I particularly loved the stunning entrance hall of the building. The staff were courteous and friendly, making me feel special throughout my stay. The little touches like having my name on the TV added a personal touch. I also appreciated the convenience of checking in and out using the hotel's app. The Bara Brith biscuits provided with the tea making facilities were a delicious treat. Despite a minor issue with the room initially not being what I had booked, the staff quickly resolved it and even provided a discount on the rate. I highly recommend Parkgate for its excellent location, cleanliness, and attentive service.

The hotel decor was beautiful and the spa treatment was outstanding. the bed was super comfy and the room had lovely wall-to-ceiling windows. the breakfast, although not the best in terms of choice or taste, was still pretty good. And the hotel's location in the center of the city was unbeatable, with attractions like the Castle, St Davids Shopping Centre, and the Ivy Restaurant all within walking distance.

The robes in the room had a suspect stain, which we reported but received only an apology as we were checking out. the street outside the hotel was a bit grotty with rubbish and smokers right by the entrance.
