our recent stay in york was absolutely fantastic. we decided to stay at poplar house serviced and it exceeded all our expectations. the apartment was spacious, clean, and well-furnished. the hosts were extremely helpful and even provided us with breakfast supplies. we loved the off-road parking and the convenient location, making it easy for us to explore the city.

The spacious and well-equipped apartments provide everything you need for a comfortable stay, including car parking. The friendly and helpful staff provide excellent recommendations for things to see and do in the area.

The check-in process could be a bit more streamlined.

Close to everything, in a brilliant location only a 10-minute walk to the city centre. Spotlessly clean apartment with all amenities you would expect. Breakfast provisions ready upon arrival. Excellent communication and attentive, helpful staff.

We had a fantastic stay at these serviced apartments. The apartment was lovely, spacious, and clean. It had a nice sitting room and a large bedroom. The small kitchen was fully equipped with a dishwasher and a washing machine. We were pleasantly surprised to find plenty of supplies generously left out for us. The location was perfect, in a quiet area and close to the city center. It was not far from the racecourse, next to a park, and right in the center of town. Additionally, the staff was friendly and helpful.

The lack of privacy due to glass panels in the main door. It was uncomfortable knowing that anyone from the neighboring apartment could see into the hallway.

That the beds for the kids were a bit small and uncomfortable. However, we had anticipated this and brought our own camping equipment, which helped to make their sleeping arrangements more comfortable.

Our stay at the apartment was amazing! The value for money was excellent, and the room itself was spacious, comfortable, and had modern amenities. The location was fantastic, nestled in a beautiful building on a charming tree-lined street just a short walk away from the city center. The owner, Shaun, was incredibly friendly and welcoming, even going the extra mile to drive us into town on our wedding anniversary. We will definitely be staying here again when we return to this lovely city.

The breakfast offerings could be improved slightly by providing a wider variety of options.

Easy to find off the A64, convenient for the railway station and a short walk from Micklegate. Free parking available right outside, well-equipped spacious apartments. Shaun, the owner, is an excellent host. Early check-in and efficient, informal check-in process. Welcome pack provided. Sainsbury's local nearby for self-catering. Plenty of restaurants and pubs within walking distance. Roadworks outside but no noise disturbance. Perfect for sightseeing or business.

Felt like family, no complaints.

We loved the fully equipped kitchen and the cozy, homely feel of the apartment. It was great to have parking right outside and be able to walk into town easily. Shaun, the owner, was extremely helpful and left us maps and tourist information.
