Bank Guest House is a hidden gem, and Donna is an absolute star! the rooms are spacious, well-equipped, and exquisitely decorated. the breakfast, cooked to order, is a delight. the central location is a bonus, and the jukebox in the dining room adds a fun touch. Parking and amenities like ironing board, kettle, and hot water bottle are provided, making the stay a breeze.

While the shower was decent, some room for improvement lingers. An initial pricing discrepancy, receipt delay, and communication hiccup left room for a smoother experience.

Lovely place, well kept, clean, and well appointed. Helpful staff, delicious breakfast. Interesting B&B, occupies old bank building. Room at the back, equipped and comfortable. Good nights' sleep. Excellent quality breakfast, no reheated food.

The window shutters were great at keeping out both noise and light, allowing for a peaceful and restful sleep. the size of the room was impressive, providing ample space to move around and relax. the location of the guest house was also a key positive, as it was conveniently situated near the heart of town, granting easy access to all the amenities and attractions the area had to offer. Lastly, the thoughtful inclusion of extras on the tea tray, such as chocolate biscuits and crisps, was a delightful surprise.

I particularly disliked the difficulty in finding parking around the back of the guest house. It was a bit awkward and took some time to locate a suitable spot.

Stayed over Xmas and absolutely loved it! the room was stunning, with beautiful decor and original features. the wooden shutters were a unique touch and kept the room quiet and peaceful. the shower room was fantastic, small but super clean. the hosts were amazing, always going above and beyond to make our stay pleasant. Loved the option to text our breakfast order and have it ready for us in the morning. All the food was freshly cooked and piping hot. the location was perfect, central to many attractions and within walking distance to several restaurants and bars.

The only thing to note is that if you're arriving late, you might have limited dining options in the area. It's best to plan ahead or arrive early to avoid any inconvenience.

Absolutely loved staying at this guest house! the rooms were beautifully decorated and spacious, with comfortable beds and top-quality linen. the breakfast served in the inviting dining area was amazing, with a wide variety of choices and delicious options such as creamy porridge with brown sugar. the host, Donna, was incredibly welcoming and went out of her way to ensure that we had everything we needed. the location of the guest house was also fantastic, with key attractions and amenities nearby.

That the shower in the bathroom was not powerful enough, which was a bit disappointing. the door of the ensuite shower room did not have a latch or lock, causing it to continually open while using the toilet.

The breakfast was good and we enjoyed the pastries and toast. the rooms were spacious and beautifully decorated, with good quality beds and linen. the location was very central and we enjoyed staying in the heart of the town.

We would not recommend this hotel for elderly people or those with disabilities as the building had many floors and stairs. we had difficulty finding the hotel as it was not easily visible from the street.

I recently stayed at a guest house in the heart of a charming town. The location was perfect, right next to some nice restaurants and down the street from the main attractions. The room was beautifully decorated with original features from the 1800s, and the shower room was exceptionally clean. The hosts were wonderful, always going above and beyond to make my stay comfortable. The breakfast was cooked to order and delicious. I would highly recommend this guest house to anyone visiting the area.

The guest house could benefit from improving the accessibility of taxis, especially late at night.

stayed here again while in hawick and it was even better than before. quiet and spacious room with lovely decor and a big walk-in shower. breakfast cooked to order was delicious. super friendly staff. wetherspoons nearby for good food. will definitely be back!

The noise from the main street was quite disruptive, especially during the night. It made it difficult to get a good night's sleep.

I recently stayed at the Bank Guest House for a wedding and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Donna, the owner, was an amazing hostess and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. She even gave some of the other guests a lift to the wedding when their taxi didn't show up. The location was fantastic, just a 5-minute walk from the theatre. The private car park was safe and convenient. The room was spacious, with a huge bathroom. And the breakfast, cooked to order and served fresh, was absolutely delicious. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a top-notch guest house experience.
