there was no designated area for residents to relax and have a drink, which was quite inconvenient. the breakfast during the week was also inconsistent, with the poached eggs being hit or miss.

I was traveling with my friends from the USA and we chose The Horse And Farrier Inn And The Salutation Inn in Threlkeld as our middle point between Scotland and Wales. The historical building added charm and the comfortable beds and good shower ensured a pleasant stay. The breakfast was delicious and we enjoyed exploring the downstairs area. The location was ideal, situated on the road but still quiet at night. a unique and satisfying experience.
