The breakfast was absolutely amazing - delicious and filling! Loved the variety of options available. the room was spotlessly clean and the bathroom was spacious and well-maintained. the owner was incredibly helpful and went above and beyond to assist us when we left something in a taxi. Location-wise, it was conveniently situated near the main road.

We ran out of hot water quite quickly, which was a bit disappointing, especially on such a cold day. the signage was a bit difficult to spot at first, leading us to drive past it a couple of times before finding it.

I got excellent value for my money at Lilacs Bed & Breakfast. The room was cozy and the bed was incredibly comfortable. The location was fantastic, with plenty of nearby pubs and restaurants. The staff, especially Tina the hostess, were lovely and welcoming. Tina's English Breakfast, which included a delicious oatcake, was a highlight of my stay. Lilacs is also conveniently located just a short drive from Alton Towers, perfect for my visit to the theme park.

We had a delightful stay at Lilacs Bed & Breakfast. The breakfast was superb, with freshly cooked scrambled eggs that were simply delicious. I recently stayed at a 4-star hotel just outside of Ashbourne, in a lovely area. The location was perfect for me as it was close to eateries and a short distance from a shopping centre. The room was very cosy and the bed was amazing! It had all the amenities I needed including ironing facilities, an electric kettle, and a flat-screen TV. The service from the staff was exceptional, they were attentive to all my needs. There was also a beautiful garden area where I could relax and unwind. The hotel also had Wi-Fi and free parking, which was very convenient. I had a pleasant overnight stay at this place and would definitely recommend it.
