I recently stayed at the Unicorn Hotel Wetherspoon for a cycling trip and it was a great experience. The location was excellent, right in the central market square and just a 2-minute walk from the Cathedral. The staff were friendly, helpful, and proactive, especially when it came to bike storage. The room was comfy and clean, with fresh and pleasant bedding. It was also reasonably priced and offered good value for money. a fantastic stay!

The hotel is in an excellent location, right on the market square in Ripon. It is within walking distance of most of the town's visitor attractions, making it very convenient for exploring the area. The rooms are clean and comfortable, with a good-sized bathroom and comfortable bed. The staff are pleasant and efficient, providing helpful information about the area. The hotel also offers a good selection for breakfast, sustaining guests throughout the day.

One small inconvenience is that the extractor in the bathroom is quite loud, which can be a bit irritating when trying to relax.

I recently stayed at The Unicorn Hotel Wetherspoon in Ripon for a weekend getaway. The hotel, true to its Wetherspoons reputation, was a beautiful building with great food and drinks. The staff, except for one female employee during check-in, were friendly, helpful, and accommodating. They even granted our request for adjacent rooms. The rooms themselves were nicely decorated, with spacious bathrooms. The hotel's location overlooked the town square and provided a fantastic view of the nightly horn blowing ceremony. Additionally, Ripon's charm and the nearby bus services to Harrogate and Leeds added to the convenience of the stay.
