We had a delightful stay at a well-situated and easy-to-find hotel. the staff were friendly and helpful, creating a welcoming atmosphere. the location was perfect for exploring the nearby towns of Skegness and Maplethorpe. the highlight of our visit was the amazing lady with red hair serving in the restaurant. Her infectious positivity and helpfulness brightened up our dining experience. the hotel boasted lovely period architecture that had been tastefully refurbished. the restaurant served incredible food that was worth returning for even if we didn't stay at the hotel again. a great experience that we would recommend to others.

Had a fantastic time at The Windmill in Alford! Booked last minute and got the bridal suite with a 4 poster bed. Lovely room, just bathrooms need updating. Free parking, pet-friendly, and super welcoming staff. Even found my lost Raybans and brought them to my room. Breakfast in the pub side with our dog was a great touch. Highly recommend!

had a fantastic walking tour in alford, and windmill hotel exceeded expectations. large airy rooms, excellent bathroom, and friendly staff. upgraded to suite and had a comfortable bed. a great and affordable option in the centre of alford.

The square in front of the hotel provides a nice space for a stroll or a drink. the hotel has its own private car park, which is a great advantage for those traveling with a vehicle.

The cleanliness of the bar area leaves much to be desired, as it is in need of a thorough cleaning.

We had a fantastic stay at the Windmill. The location was perfect, allowing us to easily explore the area. The secure carpark provided peace of mind. Despite being an old building, the hotel was well-maintained and clean. Our room was comfortable and offered a good value for the price. The breakfast was well-cooked and enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel.

A warm welcome upon arrival, with friendly staff making us feel at home. The room, although slightly chilly, was spacious and had a comfortable bed. The highlight of our stay was the Indian restaurant, serving delicious food that exceeded our expectations. Despite a few minor issues, overall I would recommend this hotel for a pleasant stay.

During our Christmas stay, we appreciated the two complimentary drinks offered by the hotel, which helped to warm us up on a chilly evening. the location was convenient for exploring the surrounding area, with easy access to nearby shops and restaurants. We also enjoyed the festive decorations in the lobby, which added a nice touch to our holiday experience.
