I had high expectations for my stay at this beautiful place and I was not disappointed. The stunning atmosphere of the castle, along with the attentive and friendly staff, made me feel special from the moment I arrived. The little touches, such as being personally shown to my room and the genuine interest in my feedback, made the guest experience exceptional. The rooms were unique and full of character, and the breakfast was spot on. Although there were some small drawbacks, like the slow service in the lounge and breakfast time, they did not overshadow the overall positive experience. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Stayed here for Christmas and it was a wonderful experience. the room was clean and comfortable with amazing period features. the staff were friendly and helpful, ensuring we had a memorable stay. the food at the restaurant was excellent, with a variety of options to choose from. the castle itself was stunning, filled with a rich history that added to the charm of the place. the gardens were also beautiful to explore. a great location for a Christmas getaway.

The only downside was that the restaurant was quite busy, resulting in a delay in being seated for dinner. However, once seated, the service was excellent.

The Queen Mary bedchamber at Thornbury Castle was amazing, with a four-poster bed and a large bay window offering views of the garden and church. Everything was clean and the towels were fluffy and soft. The cooked-to-order breakfast was delicious, and the staff were friendly. The castle grounds were perfect for an afternoon walk.

The two-night stay was a fantastic Christmas experience. Nice Christmas decorations throughout the hotel, creating a festive atmosphere. the breakfast had a wide selection and the evening meals, especially the canapés, were of top quality. the staff were friendly and accommodating, showing us around and explaining everything in great detail. the gardens were beautiful and perfect for a leisurely stroll. the rooms were clean, warm, and had a marvelous view.

There were some minor maintenance issues that needed attention, although the staff offered us a room change. Additionally, the Wi-Fi connection in the room was poor, which was a bit inconvenient.

We also appreciated the access to the facilities at the Ocean Club and the wonderful beach. the hotel had great southern charm and provided a memorable experience.

I had an incredible experience at this hotel. The staff were helpful and the ambience was wonderful. The room was lovely, with a lit fire and sherry on arrival. I was even upgraded to a deluxe room which was absolutely fabulous. The breakfast was tasty and had a lot of choices.

We had an incredible experience at this historic Tudor castle. the room we stayed in was spacious and had a perfect blend of old-world charm and modern amenities. the four-poster bed was ridiculously comfortable, and the large modern bathroom with a walk-in shower was a plus. the staff were friendly, attentive, and went out of their way to make our stay special. the breakfast spread was delicious, with a wide variety of cooked options and a help-yourself cold buffet. the castle grounds were beautifully maintained, and we loved taking a leisurely walk around the picturesque gardens.

The dining room was always a bit cold, which made it slightly uncomfortable during meals. the shower was a bit low for taller people, but it didn't detract from the overall experience.
