our stay at the retreat was absolutely perfect! the room was stylish, clean, and had everything we needed. the view from the balcony was stunning, especially at sunset. the breakfast was delicious and made our stay even more enjoyable.

We stumbled upon this gem of a hotel and had an amazing stay. Madeleine was incredibly welcoming and our room was quiet, spacious, and beautifully decorated. The view from our balcony was stunning, especially at sunset. The room had all the amenities we could ask for, including a fridge and microwave. The free-standing bath was a highlight, complete with candles and oils for a truly relaxing experience. Madeleine's attention to detail, from Easter eggs on arrival to a personalized breakfast each morning, made our stay extra special. The location was perfect, with easy access to the town and seafront. Free parking was a bonus.

Would definitely recommend this hotel.

We booked this as a last minute extension to our trip and we are glad we did. Clear check-in instructions and safe car parking. Comfortable room with crisp white walls and views over Hastings. Good night's sleep on a comfortable bed. Delicious breakfast brought up to the room. Character-filled Edwardian house with tasteful decoration. Separate private bathroom and toilet, robes provided.

Would recommend this hotel.

As vegetarians and vegans, we loved the range of self-catering facilities available in the room. The option to have a fridge, microwave, and coffee machine meant that we could easily prepare our own meals.

Felt completely at home, with the hosts going above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable.
