We recently stayed at a charming inn located conveniently near an M3 junction and close to the A303. The inn is divided into two parts, with a modern block alongside the original, historic building. The atmosphere was reminiscent of a Premier Inn, with comfortable beds and a cozy main room. The location was perfect for us, and the staff were absolutely amazing. A special mention goes to the lady with pink hair, who made us feel incredibly welcome.

We had a great experience at the Wheatsheaf! the large room in the old part of the building was clean and had comfortable pillows. It was fascinating to see the touches of original layout in the room. the staff were extremely friendly and happy to exchange pleasantries. Despite being next to a road junction, the room was fairly quiet once the traffic died down.

The cooked breakfast was not enjoyable. the bacon and sausage were overcooked, and even though the staff offered to replace them, we lost our taste for it.

The countryside view from my bay window room was breathtaking, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. Lastly, the breakfast selection was top-notch, offering a variety of delicious options to start the day.

Great choice at breakfast, including vegetarian options. Friendly and kind service. Convenient location between London and Cheddar. Large and clean room. Excellent value for money. Beautiful dinner and amazing breakfast. Better than our main holiday hotel. We will definitely be back.

We stopped at this hotel for a quick overnight stay during our bike ride. The location was perfect, within 30 minutes of our route. The room we stayed in was comfortable and the bathroom was clean. The staff were very helpful and accommodating, offering to bring us a heater when the radiator was turned off. The breakfast spread was incredible, with a wide variety of options to choose from.

The decor in some areas of the hotel seemed a bit dated.
