While the rooms were cozy, a small fridge in the room would have been a convenient addition.

Lisa and her husband created a welcoming environment, and the attentive staff added to the overall experience. the picturesque location overlooking Porth beach was ideal, providing easy access to nearby landmarks like Watergate Bay and Lusty Glaze Beach. the hotel's relaxation facilities, including the swimming pool and sun terrace, enhanced our stay and allowed for quality family bonding time. the only minor drawback was the compact bathroom, but overall, it was a memorable and enjoyable stay.

Value for money is great, with private gardens and a fantastic view overlooking Porth beach. the service is outstanding, the rooms have sea views, and breakfast and dinner are delicious, made with top-notch local ingredients by the talented Chef Rob. the hotel is perfect for beach visits and walks around the area.

the database provided was very user-friendly and easy to navigate, making it simple to find the information I needed. The room was spacious and well-appointed, with a comfortable double bed placed against the wall and a nice table in the middle of the room. Cons: the only minor issue I encountered during my stay was that the cleanliness of the room was below average. It seemed like it hadn't been dusted in a while, which was a bit disappointing.

The location was perfect, just a short stroll away from a great beach and within walking distance or a short bus ride from the city center. The breakfast spread was plentiful, with plenty of options to choose from. And let me tell you, the 6 course dinners prepared by Rob the Chef and his team were exceptional! Plus, in the evenings, I had the unique experience of watching the local badgers and foxes come into the garden to enjoy the dinner leftovers. It was a truly special touch.

We recently stayed at a charming family-run hotel that reminded us of our childhood. the warm and welcoming atmosphere at the Whipsiderry Hotel made us feel right at home. the staff, from the meticulous owners to the friendly waitstaff and lovely room cleaners, were all incredibly polite and made us feel valued as guests. Despite being well-traveled, this was our first solo hotel stay, and we would definitely choose to stay here again. the combination of old-world charm and modern comforts makes the Whipsiderry a hidden gem.

I had a fantastic stay at this cozy hotel in Porth. the stunning views and tranquil atmosphere made it a true haven. the staff were extremely friendly and helpful, and the food was amazing. They were able to cater for my food allergies and intolerances, including gluten and dairy free options. the chef prepared a delightful 4 course meal each evening, with a variety of delicious desserts. I also enjoyed the lunches and afternoon tea, which were also allergy-friendly. I can't wait to visit the Whipsiderry again!
