I recently stayed at a hotel in York for a few days. The purpose of my trip was to explore the city and its attractions. The hotel, conveniently located close to the train station and the Minster, was perfect for this. Karen and her son Adam were incredibly welcoming and friendly, making me feel right at home. Despite a small complication with self check-in, they were very accommodating. The breakfast was delicious and the room was spacious, although the hike up to the top floor was quite a workout! The location was ideal for exploring and I managed to find affordable parking nearby.

As trekkers and a group of friends, we loved the central location, just a 2-minute walk to the City walls and York Minster. The King Room was spacious, with a clean bathroom and comfortable bed. The hotel provided permits for parking, which was very convenient. Adam, one of the staff members, was polite and went above and beyond in providing information and suggestions for nearby attractions. The Mediterranean restaurant in front of the B&B offered a wide selection of drinks, including various wines and cocktails, and the food was excellent.

Felt welcome, no reason to complain.

I loved the large double room and spacious en suite. It was perfect for a romantic escape. the location was also great, just a short walk away from the main attractions. Another great aspect was the plentiful supply of tea, coffee, and milk provided. It was great to have everything we needed right there in the room.

There were a few minor issues that slightly affected our experience. the toilet seat was a bit loose and the toilet brush handle came off.

The location of the hotel was perfect, right in the center of York. It was conveniently close to all of the city's attractions and restaurants. The room itself was cozy and had a lovely view from the window. The staff were helpful and welcoming, and the check-in process was easy with contactless check-in. The facilities in the hotel were also great, with a smart TV and a coffee and tea set up in the room.

The lack of staff presence at the hotel was a bit confusing and it would have been better to have in-person communication options available.

Check-in arrangements could have been clearer, especially when arriving outside of restaurant opening hours. Noise from the road and lack of soundproofing between floors was disturbing.

I had a great stay at this hotel in York. The location was fantastic, being close to everything I wanted to see and do. I parked my car in the council car park just up the road, which was a safer option. The room was cozy and clean, with a comfy bed and a nice en-suite bathroom. Room equipped with TV/DVD, mini fridge, kettle, and tea/coffee. Comfortable bed. Adequate en-suite bathroom. Communal ironing board and steam iron available. Friendly and accommodating staff. Convenient luggage storage option. Cozy atmosphere in restaurant. Superb city center location within walking distance of everything. Close parking available.

We stayed at Minster Hub and the location couldn't have been better, just a 2-minute walk from the city center and all the attractions. The room was clean and had everything we needed for a one-night stay, including tea and coffee making facilities. The shower was excellent, providing a refreshing experience. Despite a minor issue we encountered, the friendly and helpful owners made us feel welcome and took care of us. I would definitely recommend Minster Hub for its great location and friendly atmosphere.

All was good and met our expectations.

The B&B was perfectly located for my business trip, just steps away from the central landmarks and easy to navigate the city. the rooms were clean and offered everything I needed for my short stay, including comfortable beds and adequate space to work.

Although the rooms were clean, a few amenities were lacking. There were only basic toiletries and not much space for hanging clothes or storing luggage.
