My family and I recently stayed at Aloha Crater Lodge for a few nights during our visit to the beautiful rainforest. The rooms were comfortable, private, and beautifully crafted. We loved the cozy touches like the chairs outside and the rope lights on the balcony. Breakfast was delicious and had a variety of options, perfect for on-the-go. The location near the national park was ideal. our stay was delightful, and we have fond memories of our time at the lodge. We would definitely book again.

Our stay at Aloha Crater Lodge was a true hidden gem. The location was perfect for visiting the nearby Volcanoes National Park, which was just a short drive away. We were able to spend three whole days exploring the park and also enjoyed a day in the town of Hilo, visiting museums and a beautiful botanical garden. The lodge itself was tucked away in a rainforest, providing us with stunning views and a tranquil atmosphere. We particularly loved the jacuzzi on site, where we could relax in 105-degree water surrounded by trees and ferns. The provided breakfast and snack items were well-stocked, including fresh fruit and coffee. The bed was comfortable, and we appreciated the overhead fan.

The bathroom was small and could use some updating. Also, the tub spigot seemed more like a sink faucet, making it difficult to fill the tub with enough water to use the water jets.

We loved the spacious room with a beautiful view, jacuzzi tub, and kitchen area. The breakfast items provided in the room were a convenient touch. The location in the rainforest was quiet and serene. The owners were friendly and helpful, recommending great places to visit.

The location of the lodge was great, very close to the entrance of the national park. We also appreciated the homemade breakfast, especially the delicious breads and muffins.

There were broken pieces of furniture and a power outlet that didn't work properly. the WiFi was also inconsistent and didn't work well in our room.

Each cabin has a fridge, microwave, and ample snacks provided-- a budget traveler's delight. The peaceful property features beautiful gardens, and the location is excellent for exploring nearby attractions. Coqui frogs serenade guests to sleep at night.

Aloha Crater Lodge offers a unique and eccentric room experience with a natural lava feel. The stone shower and rocky floor add to the authentic vibe. The lodge's location near Volcano Park is convenient for hiking. The lodge area is secluded, quiet, and surrounded by beautiful greenery and flowers. The comfortable bed and tasty breakfast snacks are a treat. The on-site lava tube is a nice feature, although we couldn't use it due to safety concerns with our young kids.

The hotel is located in a beautiful rainforest setting, close to the entrance of the national park. The rooms are clean and well-equipped with a kitchenette and a large shower. The staff is friendly and the breakfast provided, with delicious bread, fruit, and other items, is a real treat.

Nothing, it is perfect.

We arrived late due to a tsunami warning and were happy to find someone answering the phone. The owner greeted us promptly and took us right up to our clean, homey room without the bother of a formal check-in. Breakfast items in the fridge were a nice touch. we had a great, unique experience.

This hotel is ideal for those visiting the nearby national park. The location is great, just a short drive away. The rooms are comfortable, with a king bed and even a small fridge stocked with juice and yogurt. The grounds are beautiful, and there's even a giant lava tube on site that is a must-see. The service and staff are accommodating, making for a pleasant stay.

The only minor issue was that the rooms felt slightly damp, but it could have been due to the timing of our trip or the location.
