We stayed at this hostel with a group of friends and loved the amazing staff who made us feel like part of their big family. The facilities were great with comfortable beds, clean showers and bathrooms, lockers, and a well-equipped kitchen. The hostel also had a sauna, floating bath, and a beautiful garden to relax in. We enjoyed the free daily hikes organized by the hostel and had plenty of opportunities to interact with other travelers.

We had an amazing stay at this hostel. The staff were prompt, friendly, and always available if needed. The hostel had great security measures in place, with electronic key pads at all entrances and locks on each room. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, with plenty of space to relax and socialize. The free breakfast was a nice bonus, and there were lots of extension cords and device chargers available throughout the hostel. the cleanliness, facilities, location, and staff were all top-notch.

I recently stayed at Base Camp for a few nights while exploring the area. The hostel is conveniently located near the bus station, making it easy to get to both the airport and city center. I was pleasantly surprised to find out that they have a free sauna, which was a great way to relax after a long day of hiking. One unique feature I loved was the opportunity to donate food and personal belongings to others in need, promoting sustainability and helping others. The staff was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was welcoming and community-oriented. With plenty of nearby restaurants and food delivery options, everything I needed was within walking distance.

The hostel had a friendly and community-oriented atmosphere, making it a great jumping-off point for various activities in the area. the affordability allowed me to save money for other adventures, such as landing on a glacier or trying out local restaurants and food delivery services.

The cleanliness of the bathrooms could have been improved, with visible signs of mold and stains in certain areas. It would have been better if the bathrooms were tidied up more frequently, given the number of backpackers staying at the hostel.

base camp hostel in anchorage was even better than my previous stay. the spacious dorm room and friendly staff made my short break truly memorable. i loved the communal areas, especially the kitchen and lounge, where i could chat with other guests. cory went above and beyond to help me with my travel arrangements. overall, a fantastic experience.

I particularly appreciated the daily organized hikes, which allowed me to explore the beautiful nature and trails around the area while interacting with fellow guests. Base Camp was the perfect base for my Alaska trip.

had an amazing time at a friendly hostel in anchorage. met interesting people, enjoyed the included breakfast & cups of tea. location was perfect for exploring the city without a car, and staff were fantastic. loved the relaxing garden and cool amenities like the sauna. exceeded expectations during this honeymoon.

The location was excellent. It was easy to get around without a car, with the bus routes and bike rentals available. The other guests were respectful and engaging, creating a welcoming atmosphere throughout my stay.

The neighborhood where the hostel is located felt a bit sketchy. I didn't feel completely safe walking around in the area, especially at night.
