Close to everything, friendly staff, perfect for family vacation, kitchen and two bedrooms, sailing on the Windfall II, beautiful sunrise on undeveloped beach.

The location of this lodge was fantastic, with everything within walking distance. It made exploring the area so easy and convenient. The room, although small, had a cozy atmosphere that made it feel like a home away from home. I was pleasantly surprised by the comfortable bed and the cleanliness of the room. The friendly and helpful staff member who checked us in made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. Despite a few minor drawbacks, overall I would recommend this hotel for a pleasant stay.

Lovely pool just outside our window, parking under shady trees, favorite dinner restaurant across the street, best breakfast around the corner. Fresh brewed coffee and tea available near check-in, good ice machine nearby. Happy, kid-filled game room next to lobby, quiet lobby for early morning coffee and reading.

Additionally, there is a beautiful swimming spot at Springer's Point, perfect for families with little ones.

We had a wonderful three-day stay at Blackbeard's Lodge. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our comfort, even though we had to switch rooms. The pillow top mattress was incredibly comfortable, and the rooms were clean and recently revamped. The front desk staff, Sherri and Kelly, were friendly and provided great recommendations for local dining. The pool, game room, and porch swings added to the overall charm of the hotel. Renting a golf cart and bikes from the front desk made exploring the island a breeze. We can't wait to return!

I recently stayed at a charming, historic hotel on the beach. The staff at Blackbeard's Lodge were exceptional, making me feel welcome and taken care of throughout my stay. The apartment we rented was perfect for our family of five. We've stayed here twice and it's always clean and functional. The location is great, close to town and walking distance to everything. The game room was a big hit with the kids. There may be a pool, but we didn't check.

I recently stayed at a lovely, charming hotel on a remote island. The older building had so much character and charm, and it was very clean. In fact, it was cleaner than some of the Hilton products I've stayed at. The staff was pleasant and helpful, especially Kelly, who even carried our luggage to the second floor. The location was perfect, with a small but lovely pool just outside our window and parking under shady trees. We had our favorite dinner restaurant right across the street and the best breakfast on the island just around the corner. There was also fresh brewed coffee or tea available near check-in and a good ice machine close by. The lobby was quiet in the morning, perfect for enjoying a cup of coffee and some reading time. it was a lovely and charming place to stay, with good value for the price.
