As a hurricane-displaced traveler, I stayed at Comfort Inn for a short but enjoyable experience. The professional and welcoming desk staff made me feel at home. The room was perfect with a hot shower and a super comfy bed. Even though I left early, the kind man at the desk offered me a takeaway breakfast and coffee. The hotel's location on the main road made it convenient for my visit to Guilford and Madison. The up-to-date furnishings and cleanliness exceeded my expectations. a really nice stay!

Great location, close to restaurants, shopping, and beaches. Free parking and a small town atmosphere. Easy access to the freeway and a Walmart nearby. The room had a refrigerator and coffee maker, and the breakfast was a nice touch. Friendly staff, especially Shawn, who made check-in quick and even helped with luggage. Fluffy pillows and a clean facility.

The rooms had a noticeable mildew smell, which was quite off-putting. They also appeared to be run down and in need of some maintenance.

The coffee was the absolute worst I have ever tasted at any hotel. the breakfast was also very low quality and unappealing. the staff never said hello or good morning and were always on their cell phones. They even argued with me about my reservation and never apologized for their mistake. When I asked for recommendations for our anniversary dinner, they had no idea where to go. the elevator was clunky and hadn't been inspected in 15 months. It eventually stopped working and we had to use the outside stairs, but the key cards didn't work to access them. Management's solution was to prop the door open, posing a serious safety risk. the breakfast options were limited and not very good.
