My husband and I stayed at Courtyard for three nights during our vacation in Charleston. The hotel's location was perfect for exploring the city as it was within walking distance of the main attractions and restaurants. Kevin McQuade, the concierge, was incredibly helpful and provided excellent recommendations for things to do and places to eat. We loved the convenience of having shops like Starbucks, Chipotle, and Panera nearby, as well as the vibrant Saturday farmers market. Our room had a balcony with a lovely view of the garden, and despite the property being a bit older, it was clean and comfortable. Additionally, the staff was friendly and the parking was convenient.

I had the best stay at this hotel. Everything was perfect. The location was incredible, as it was in the center of the historic district. Being so close to downtown amenities made it so convenient for exploring the city. I was able to walk to pretty much anywhere on the peninsula, including the historic area. The cleanliness of the hotel was outstanding, and the facilities were modern and well-maintained. The staff was amazing, especially Jessica. She was so helpful and friendly, providing great tips and even helping me find a personal item I had left in my room. this hotel exceeded my expectations and made my trip unforgettable.

I recently stayed at Courtyard in Charleston for a few days and had a wonderful experience. The property itself was beautiful and well-maintained, with plenty of hand sanitizer available throughout. The staff were all incredibly friendly and helpful. I particularly appreciated the valet car service, even though it was a bit pricey. The location was convenient, within walking distance of shops, a college, and various restaurants. I also loved having a balcony with a view of the garden. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Jessica, one of the hotel staff, was especially kind and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable.

The hotel has a great location in walking distance to Market Street and the Aquarium. The room we stayed in was beautiful with hardwood floors and a clean bathroom. The staff at the front desk was courteous and helpful. I would recommend this hotel.

The curtains in the room blocked the AC flow, which made it a bit warm, and the coffee maker was too small for four people. Nonetheless, the hotel itself was very clean and well-maintained.

The prices were comparable to other places in the area, but what set this hotel apart was the attention to detail and the high level of service from the staff. The location in the historic district was perfect, with many historic attractions within walking distance. The rooms were comfortable and clean, and I was lucky enough to have a room with views of the water. The renovated bathroom was a nice touch, and although the small fridge was not very effective, it was still a useful amenity to have.

It is conveniently located near King Street, the historical district, The Market, Waterfront Park, and even the Maritime building for harbor cruises. Within walking distance, you can also reach The Battery on East Bay Street, which offers stunning views. The rooms were very clean and well-maintained. The hotel also provides basic amenities, and there is a small fridge in the rooms, which was handy for keeping my son's milk cold. The staff at this hotel were attentive and friendly. They provided good service, and the concierge, Kevin, in particular, was absolutely fabulous. He gave great recommendations and made our stay even better. Although there was no room service, the hotel provides breakfast options such as scrambled eggs or breakfast burritos. It would have been nice to have more variety, but the country breakfast recommended by the concierge was delicious.

Located in the heart of downtown, this hotel is a fantastic find for those looking to explore the historic district and its many attractions. The spacious rooms are elegantly appointed with modern amenities including fitness centers and large windows overlooking the city. The staff is welcoming, knowledgeable, and goes above and beyond to ensure guests feel at home. Breakfast at the onsite bistro is delicious, and a perfect way to start the day.

Despite its many positives, guests have reported that the walls can be thin, and noises from the hallway and outside can be heard quite clearly.

Nothing not to like

The hotel had a fantastic breakfast and a great place to relax and grab a drink. the location was amazing, as it was very close to all the places that we wanted to visit in the area. the hotel had a refreshing pool that we thoroughly enjoyed on a hot day.

The room we were initially given was not up to our standards, with dirt and hair on the floors and the bathroom light switch. However, the hotel staff was kind enough to offer us another room, which was much cleaner and comfortable.
