The value for money at the Lodge was fantastic, with comfortable and clean rooms. The location was ideal, close to the beautiful Castle Crags and tucked away enough for a peaceful and quiet stay. The staff were friendly and even shared some interesting local history with us.

Breakfast choices could be improved with a wider selection.

The location was pretty good, close to an area with nice scenery and nature activities. The room was also comfortable with nice beds, which made our stay somewhat enjoyable.

There were several disappointing aspects to our stay. the owner was quite gruff and made some strange anti-government statements that were off-putting.

Cozy family-run spot, with personalized touches throughout the establishment. Great location for hiking and exploring the area. - Delightful owner who provided helpful recommendations for breakfast and local attractions.

Thin walls, allowing for noise from neighboring rooms. Rusty shower tiles and slow hot water in the bathroom.

We had a wonderful stay at the Lodge in Dunsmuir. The staff service was great! Eric went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, even providing us with tips on local hikes. The location was convenient and the surrounding area was beautiful, with dragonflies and butterflies fluttering about. The motel itself was comfortable, clean, and had a cozy atmosphere. We loved the treed view and the hillside covered in wildflowers. Definitely a place we would love to come back to!
