The access to canoes, paddle boards, and pontoon rentals was really fun for my family and me. The resort is conveniently located right off the Gunflint Trail, allowing us to easily explore the beautiful surroundings. The history of the resort added an interesting touch to our stay. We enjoyed cozying up by the wood fire in the stone fireplace during the stormy evening. The well-stocked firewood made it easy for us to keep the fire going. The cleanliness and maintenance of the classic cabin were impressive. The spacious 1 bedroom/bath area with a separate sink and mirror was a nice touch. Although there was no cable or WiFi, we enjoyed watching DVDs and embracing the tranquility. The camp store had some cool items for sale, and we had a delicious dinner at the Red Paddle Bistro. The well-maintained grounds and sunny mornings added to our overall pleasant experience.

One of the worst aspects of our stay was the lack of Wi-Fi in the cabin. It made it difficult to stay connected and plan our activities.

The location was breathtaking, surrounded by beautiful woods and lakes. It was the perfect setting for a peaceful getaway. the cabin was cozy and well, equipped with a kitchenette and fireplace, providing a warm and comfortable stay. the 5, head shower in the bathroom was a luxurious touch.

There were some cleanliness issues that were quite off, putting. There were mouse droppings found in the cabin, which was quite disappointing.

The location is remote, but surprisingly tranquil and beautiful. The restaurant offers good food and craft beers. Canoes and boats are available for use. There are many trails to explore.

The cabins were exactly as described on the website, and the food at the restaurant was very good. the location was perfect, with beautiful scenery and a peaceful atmosphere.

There was no TV or internet service in the cabins, which might be a downside for some guests. Additionally, finding assistance at night was a challenge and the presence of bears near the cabins was disturbing.

I got great value for my money at this tranquil and beautiful resort. The staff treated me like a VIP and there were so many activities to enjoy, from canoeing to exploring nearby trails.

The breakfast option could be improved with more variety and fresh ingredients.
