The hotel's location was great for day trips and scenic drives through the north Georgia mountains. It was also convenient to have a variety of restaurants within walking distance, from fast food to a chain steak house. The breakfast options, including made-to-order omelettes, fresh fruit, cooked oatmeal.

Although the hotel was generally clean, it did feel a bit outdated. the bathroom tiles could use an update and the floor tile and carpet could have been cleaner.
