We loved the location of this hotel as it was near to the city centre, making it convenient for exploring. The train station was just round the corner, making transportation easy. Additionally, the staff were friendly and helpful, providing excellent service. The breakfast offered a wide variety of options, from continental to full English, ensuring that there was something for everyone's taste.

we had a great stay at the motel. the staff was super helpful and kind. they gave us all the information we needed about the amenities and made us feel welcome. the location was perfect for us as it was right by the entrance to the redwoods state park and close to the visitor's center. the room was clean and quiet, and the bed was comfy. we also enjoyed the fire pit outside in the evenings. next door, there was a great restaurant that we didn't get to try, but maybe next time!

The walls were paper thin, so we could hear every single noise from our neighbors. It made it nearly impossible to get a good night's sleep.

We loved the cabin-like atmosphere of this hotel, nestled in the tall pines. The outdoor area, complete with fire pit, barbecue area, and grassy space for dogs, added to the lovely setting. The location was extraordinary, just a short distance from the beautiful redwoods and right on the river. The hotel staff were so kind and accommodating, especially when a windstorm caused a power outage; they quickly provided flashlights to all the guests. Additionally, being close to Jedidiah national park made exploring the area a breeze.

The location of the motel is fantastic, nestled right inside the beautiful redwood forest. From here, it's easy to access the nearby Jedidiah National Park and explore the mesmerizing Redwood forest. The motel also has a wonderful view of the river, adding to the overall charm of the place. The staff at the motel are incredibly friendly and helpful, providing helpful information about local road closures and ensuring a smooth check-in process.

The furnishings and amenities in the rooms could use some updating and improvement.

We loved the friendly front desk staff who made our 30th anniversary celebration extra special with a bottle of bubbly. The fire pit and chairs were perfect for roasting marshmallows at night. The motel's location made it easy for us to explore the stunning Jedidiah Redwood forest. The nearby cafe had a large menu with delicious food and a cozy atmosphere.

I felt like a nature expert learning about the unique geology of the area and the growth of massive trees. Enjoyed hiking and snorkeling nearby. The motel had a lovely view of a mountain and had free WiFi.

Who needs curtains when you can wake up with the glorious morning light blinding you? Not me, apparently.

Great value for money, clean rooms, and amazing staff. The location was perfect for exploring the nearby Redwood trails.

The breakfast menu could use some improvement, perhaps by offering more variety or fresh options.

I was nervous to stay as I am not really a motel gal, but this place is perfect. We loved the location, perfect for trips to Oregon or exploring Jedediah SP and the Smith River. The Cafe was excellent, good food and service. Our room was sparkling clean and very comfortable. Wifi included and good enough strength as well. Good market and gas across the street too.
