the lodge was even better than my previous stay in keene valley. the location among the adirondacks was perfect for hiking, and the lack of TVs and cell phones made it a true escape. the cozy atmosphere and lovely hostess made it feel like my own slice of heaven.

Sitting on the covered porch, sipping wine and watching deer grazing in front of us was a real treat. the location among the Adirondacks was perfect for outdoor activities.

We recently stayed at a charming lodge in the perfect location for day hikes. the quaint town offered a relaxed atmosphere, and the breakfasts were delicious. Our hostess was incredibly helpful and made us feel welcome. the lodge itself had a throwback feel with its historic house and cozy fireplace in the living room. the staff were friendly, and our suite was surprisingly spacious and clean, with an additional bedroom not shown in the online pictures. We also enjoyed the library with trail maps and rocking chairs on the front porch. a wonderful experience that we would definitely return to.

The little fire ring and Adirondack chairs by the river added to the charm of the place. The homemade muffins at breakfast were a delicious treat. The lodge had recently been remodeled with new mattresses, making our stay very comfortable. The friendly staff were always available for a chat in the mornings.

The facilities were excellent, including parking and a well-equipped kitchen in the adjoining cottage. it was a delightful experience.
