Stayed here on a family vacation while going from Yellowstone to South Dakota. Throwback classic, super clean and nostalgic. Efficient, comfortable and cozy rooms. Incredibly gracious and friendly owners. Good coffee in the morning.

The rooms at this motel are super cute and updated, with stylish furnishings and a clean and comfortable atmosphere. The owner is friendly and accommodating, always going out of his way to make sure guests are taken care of. They have a great location, just a few blocks from downtown restaurants and a Dollar Tree for convenience. Plus, there's a fantastic breakfast place right next door. If you're lucky, you might be able to snag a last-minute room due to a cancellation.

Some cosmetic updates wouldn't hurt. the bathroom is small and the layout of the room is awkward.

We had a fantastic experience at Lariat Motel during our family road trip. The staff was incredibly gracious and welcoming. They even organized a live music jam session in the parking lot, which we enjoyed from the comfort of our room while watching a beautiful thunderstorm. The rooms were clean, quiet, and beautifully decorated. The location was very convenient, especially after visiting the Little Bighorn Battlefield. We wish we could have stayed longer than one night.
