Great location with an amazing ocean view. Rooms need better cleaning and updates.

Despite a hiccup with room changes and AC issues, the view and various pools/spas at Ocean Reef Resort in Myrtle Beach were perfect for my family's outdoor-loving adventures. Will return for the beautiful setting and amenities.

The waist-high, mellow waves were ideal for swimming and playing. We enjoyed the perfect ocean temperature and the serene atmosphere for some relaxing beach yoga.

For dads, a dedicated children's play area would be great.

The ocean views were breathtaking, and the pool was a hit with the kids. The room was spacious, but cleanliness fell short with some maintenance issues. Staff were friendly overall. Parking was a hassle, and elevator wait times were long. A pleasant stay with room for improvement.

Omg, dis place waz lit 🔥 da ocean-front room bed waz ah-mazing! ! plenty of room to chill. Only drawback, da hallway smelled bad 😬 other than dat, nice stay with friendly staff and cool amenities. Would defo come back!

The Ocean Reef Resort in Myrtle Beach was a delightful stay. I particularly enjoyed the numerous pools, jacuzzis, and lazy river, as well as the lively atmosphere at the bar. The beach access and available DVD rentals were convenient for relaxation. The nearby landmarks like Lost Mine Miniature Golf Course and the Children's Museum added to our family bonding experience. We will return for these memorable features.

The room at Ocean Reef had a nice sitting area with a cozy couch, perfect for relaxing after a day at the beach. The flat-screen TV was a great addition for some evening entertainment. the lack of free wi-fi in the rooms was disappointing, as we had to use our data for internet access. The kitchen was equipped with basic cookware and utensils, which were handy for preparing simple meals. We found a washing machine in the unit, but it was quite dirty inside, which was a bit off-putting. The dryer worked well, though. The bathroom had free toiletries provided, which was a nice touch. the shower had low water pressure, making it challenging to get a good rinse. the room was comfortable, but some maintenance issues like the dirty washing machine and low water pressure in the shower could use some attention at Ocean Reef.

Despite some cleanliness and maintenance issues, the upscale vibe, delicious breakfast, and great location made my stay at Ocean Reef Resort enjoyable. The staff response could have been better, but the beachfront room with the beautiful view was worth it.

I had a magical time at Captain Hook's Adventure Golf. The Tribute to ABBA concert was fabulous! The libation with tequila was delightful. The lazy river was so much fun.

Because who doesn't love stained furniture and outdated rooms on vacation? .

The large balcony exceeded the photos. DEFINITELY coming back!

The staff was welcoming, especially the security personnel, who made us feel safe. The room was impressive, one of the best I've stayed in. Unfortunately, issues like noise from the bathroom and the hassle at check-in detracted from the experience. The housekeeping charges and breakfast confusion were disappointing, but the balcony was nice.

Pleasant Staff and Great Location for a Quieter Stay

The staff at the resort was friendly and accommodating, making our stay enjoyable. the location, offering a quieter atmosphere while still being close to the busier part of Ocean Blvd, was perfect for a relaxing getaway. Some improvements could be made in terms of cleanliness and maintenance around the resort to enhance the overall experience.

The hotel had an amazing view and the room was spotless, complete with pots and pans for convenience. The hotel's location was top-notch and the room decor made it feel cozy. The quick updates during a hurricane warning were reassuring, and the provision of information for precautions was a plus. The 🌊 beach access and relaxing massages were a great way for chilling out after a long day. The only minor hiccup was the confusion about the $100 security deposit charge during check-in, but overall, it didn't affect my enjoyable stay.

I keep returning for the comfort, amenities, and helpful staff. They even assisted me in finding a car service. The facilities suit me perfectly, with free Wi-Fi, car park, pools, game room, and more. I can't wait to come back for Christmas.

The hot and cold breakfast buffet with an omelet station was a great way to start the day, and the live music and wine tasting on the patio added a delightful touch to the evening. I also appreciated the thoughtful addition of games and activities for families, making our vacation relaxing and fun-filled.

The initial maintenance issues with the overflowing toilet and the inconvenience caused by the fire alarm at 2 am were quite disruptive.
