The location of the hotel was perfect for our holiday. It was within walking distance to several non-chain restaurants and even had a burger place next door that we enjoyed. the hotel also had a nice dock on the lake where we could spend time during the day. the courtyard gazebo was a great spot to relax, eat, and drink. the rooms were clean and comfortable, and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. We also appreciated the fact that there were parking spaces for our truck and trailer.

There were a few aspects of our stay that could have been better. the lighting in the room was poor, making it a bit difficult to see.

A truly delightful stay at Commons! My 7-year-old and I were upgraded to the Sean Connery Suite, complete with ample space for the whole family. The hotel grounds were lovely, and we enjoyed a fantastic craft cocktail at the Commons Tasting Room. We'll definitely be back! highly recommended.

We stayed at Okoboji Commons for a relaxing weekend getaway. The grounds were well-maintained, with beautiful trees and benches overlooking the stunning view of East Okoboji. The gas fire pits on the manicured lawn added a cozy touch to our evenings. The room was clean and spacious, with a comfortable bed and bedding. The wood fire pit on the small beach was a highlight of our stay, with plenty of firewood and comfortable seating. The staff was friendly and helpful, making our experience even more enjoyable.

Our family had a great stay at a unique hotel. We enjoyed the easy access to the lake, and appreciated the private beach area that was quieter than the busy road. The rooms were tastefully decorated and the lobby area was inviting. The onsite restaurants provided tasty food and drinks. We especially enjoyed the Smack Shack burgers.

We were disappointed to find out that there was no daily housekeeping due to health concerns.

As bike riders, we loved the easy access to the bike trail just steps away from our room. The well-kept grounds with fire pits and a view of East Okoboji were perfect for relaxing after a day of riding.
