Our stay at the Oneida Community Mansion House was a true discovery. The ornate rooms and cozy atmosphere instantly won us over. The staff was incredibly welcoming and made us feel right at home.

The location of the hotel was ideal, with the historical library right next to it where the community members had studied many years ago. The room itself was comfortable and spacious, with elegant furnishings. The bathroom provided plenty of hot water and was well-maintained. The breakfast included a light European buffet with coffee, juice, and muffins. The museum displays were extensive and informative, providing a glimpse into the rich history of the location.

The pillows in the room were uncomfortably hard, which affected our overall sleep quality.

During my xmas stay, I really enjoyed the historical aspect of the hotel. It was fascinating to stay in a place with such rich history and learn about the community that once inhabited it. the tour of the museum was a great bonus, with informative slideshows and interesting displays. I also liked that the hotel had a gift shop where I could find unique items to take home as souvenirs.

There were a couple of things that I disliked about my stay. there was no front desk staff available, which made it difficult to reach someone in case of any issues.

Tracy provided us with a fantastic historical tour, and we appreciated being able to explore the museum rooms at our own pace. The experience was both unique and educational, transporting us back in time. We highly recommend staying here for a one-of-a-kind experience. If possible, make sure to schedule the guided tour, or you can create your own walking tour of the museum rooms. we were thoroughly impressed and would definitely come back for more exploration in the future.
