For the price we paid, Mtn Lodge provided great value. The room was cozy, clean, and had all the necessary amenities. The staff was friendly and accommodating, making us feel welcome throughout our stay. The location was perfect, with beautiful views and a short drive to nearby attractions.

The only improvement needed would be to add more variety to the breakfast items.

Stayed here while skiing in Telluride. Scenic drive to slopes, cheaper than staying in Telluride, not overrun with tourists. Convenient to Montrose airport. Decent choice of restaurants in town. Leslie was phenomenal with our late check-in. Comfortable, spacious rooms. Nice outside seating area and ample parking. Great base for visiting the area. 10/10 would recommend.

We stayed at Mtn Lodge for a couple of nights during our Harley trip and it was exactly what we needed - the room was comfortable and clean, and the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The friendly and genuine attitude of the staff really stood out, and the food at the restaurant was delicious and reasonably priced. The hot morning coffee was a perfect start to our day. We were very happy with our stay and would definitely return.

This motel is a great value for the price. The rooms are clean, newly renovated, and have nice decorations. The staff is friendly and helpful. The location is perfect, close to everything we needed and planned for the weekend. The outdoor sitting area is a nice touch. Breakfast included in the price is definitely a plus.

Additionally, the hotel was reasonably priced and just a short drive to Telluride. The little touches like popcorn and chocolates on the bed made us feel extra special.

There were a few minor drawbacks. The lobby bar being open to the guest room corridors resulted in some noise disturbance, especially on a Friday night.

Inconsistent Service & Lack of Special Requests

I recently stayed at Ridgway Lodge And Star Saloon for a few nights and it was a wonderful experience. The staff was friendly and accommodating, and they even provided a pack and play for my infant. The room was clean and comfortable, with high-quality sheets and a comfy bed. I loved the small touches, like the chocolate candies and microwavable popcorn waiting on the bed. The breakfast had a good selection, and I particularly enjoyed the delicious raisin bread. They also had filtered water available all the time, which was a nice bonus.

I had a great experience at this hotel. The location was very convenient, close to everything I needed, including a Family Dollar store and other attractions. The staff was very welcoming, offering me a delicious drink upon arrival. The room was spacious and had all the amenities I needed, such as heating, air conditioning, and tea and coffee facilities. I also enjoyed spending time outside on the patio, which had comfortable garden furniture. The hotel offers a lot of leisure activities nearby, such as hiking, cycling, and fishing.

I highly recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a comfortable and convenient stay.

During my recent stay at the Mtn Lodge, I was delighted to find that the hotel was pet friendly. As a dog owner, this made my trip much more enjoyable. The convenience of having food available onsite was also a great perk, and I must say, their wings were absolutely delicious!

Although I do have to mention a couple of drawbacks, such as the lack of handicap accessible ramps and cuts in the curbs outside, and the small room size and poor furnishing, overall, I would still recommend staying at the Mtn Lodge. Despite these minor issues, the pet-friendly policy, delicious food, and exceptional service made for a memorable stay.

They offered free breakfast burritos and coffee, which was a nice surprise. the location is convenient, close to hot springs and surrounded by mountains. the hotel had a balcony where you can enjoy the view of the surroundings while sipping on your morning coffee. it was satisfying for our short weekend stay.

The staff was not very welcoming, and there were no real efforts made to convene a positive experience. the cleanliness was an issue, as there were stains on the carpet and towels.

The hotel's location across from the Fairgrounds was ideal for our trip to explore the nearby attractions in Ouray. The staff was friendly and welcoming at all times and even the restaurant staff went out of their way during their shifts to ensure our dining experience was enjoyable. We loved the cozy feel of the small area off the foyer where we could sit and chat with other guests. The room and bathroom were both clean and well-maintained, and the bed was comfortable. The pool, sauna, and hot tub were the perfect end to a long day of hiking.

The walls were quite thin, and it was difficult to get a good night's sleep with the noise from the neighboring room.
