We had a great time exploring the area around the hotel. There were many restaurants just a short walk away, which made finding meals easy. We also loved how close we were to the train station, as it made it convenient for us to travel around. The room was clean and comfortable, and the bathroom had a nice window to keep it fresh. The staff was friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. We even enjoyed picking fresh fruit from the trees in the parking lot.

The lack of tea and coffee making facilities in the room was a bit disappointing.

However, these positives were not enough to outweigh the overall disappointment of the stay.

The sheets were scratchy and uncomfortable, making it impossible to get a good night's sleep. To make matters worse, there was no in-room coffee or kleenex, which are basic amenities that should be provided.

I recently stayed at the Sterling Inn in Santa Clara for a few days. The location was fantastic, close to the airport and within walking distance of shops and restaurants. The staff were friendly and check-in was a breeze. The room was clean and spacious, with comfortable beds and a modern decor. The shower had great water pressure and the WiFi was strong. I also appreciated the small fridge and microwave in the room, as well as the abundance of accessible plugs for charging devices. it was a restful and enjoyable stay.

Lovely clean, modern rooms. Well-equipped with large TV, microwave, fridge, hairdryer, toiletries. Comfy bed. Good location, easy to drive around San Jose. Close to Santa Clara university and nice cafes/lunch places nearby. Friendly owner, allowed us to leave the car when we arrived early.

I had a great experience staying at this newly renovated motel. the bath and bed linens smelled fresh and clean, and the room itself was bright, clean, and nicely decorated. the manager, Ed, and the housekeeper provided exceptional service and hospitality. the location was convenient, with easy access to the freeway, airport, mall, and restaurants. the presence of a nearby police station added to the sense of safety. Despite the number of guests, the motel was surprisingly quiet. I was very comfortable throughout my stay. It felt like a 5-star hotel experience.
