I had an absolutely delightful stay at this charming lodge! the staff was wonderful and the breakfast was superb. the quaint setting and marvelous garden lawn area made it the perfect place to catch up with friends from our group. the hosts at Stone Lizard were amazing, kind, and very friendly, making us feel incredibly welcome. the beds were very comfortable and the rooms were nicely decorated. the homemade cinnamon rolls and savory pastries, along with the owners' engaging conversation, filled our mornings with positive energy for the entire trip.

This motel is a gem from the 40's, beautifully updated with a trendy touch. The rooms are clean, spacious, and well-furnished. The homemade cinnamon rolls and puff pastry egg packets in the breakfast spread are to die for. We loved our stay and would definitely come back.

The suite was like home with 3 bedrooms, cozy living room, & fully equipped kitchen. Breakfast had homemade egg & ham pockets, muffins, & legendary banana bread. Owner had pleasant conversations with guests, discussing their common past in Kodiak, Alaska.

I recently stayed at a hidden gem of a place in a desert city. The room I had was spacious with two comfortable queen beds and a newly renovated bathroom. The outside garden area looked lovely, although I couldn't enjoy it due to the weather. The real surprise was the breakfast area, which was large and beautifully decorated. The handmade food options were absolutely delicious, from the wheat cinnamon rolls to the savory breakfast pockets. It felt like I was having breakfast in a high-end B&B. The owners were also very friendly and welcoming. I highly recommend this cozy and delightful oasis!

The bathroom was a bit outdated, but still very clean. The breakfast facility was a little cramped for some people who prefer more privacy.

The amenities in the room, including AC, fan, and a great shower, were all excellent. The hotel was very clean, and the parking was nice. The staff, including the owners, were incredibly nice and helpful, even providing us with tips on nearby biking places. The atmosphere was friendly, and we met interesting people "in the garden.

Additionally, we appreciated the lovely garden area where we could relax and have breakfast. It created a pleasant atmosphere for starting our day.

One downside was the issue with the bedroom heater. It wasn't functioning properly, resulting in a chilly night's sleep.
