I had an excellent stay at a hotel in a wonderful location, just a short drive up to New York. The room was clean and comfortable, with a finished bathroom that exceeded my expectations. The service was outstanding, with friendly and accommodating staff who went above and beyond to make my stay enjoyable. The breakfast was delicious, and the hotel had a fantastic bar and restaurant. I also loved the historical decor and the well-lit parking area.

That the parking was a bit of a distance from the entrance, which was inconvenient when it was raining.

The hotel was a hidden gem, with free parking and a friendly staff. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the hotel had a personal touch that showcased the history of the area. There was also a great restaurant nearby.

We had a wonderful stay at Anthracite. the lobby and staff were great, and our recently remodeled room was spacious, clean, and well-furnished. the attached covered parking was very convenient. the highlight was the excellent restaurant with a delicious menu and high-quality food. We even received vouchers for $10 each night, which covered half the cost of our amazing prime rib dinner. the hotel staff, including the manager Robert, were extremely accommodating and went above and beyond to ensure our satisfaction. We will definitely be staying here again.

The rooms were spacious and the beds were comfortable. the cleanliness of the hotel was top-notch. the hotel staff were helpful and friendly. the location of the hotel was convenient, with easy access to nearby dining options and a quick drive to a ski resort.

There were some minor maintenance issues, such as scratched woodwork and a missing trim piece in the elevator. These issues did not significantly impact our stay, but it would be nice to see them addressed.

The hotel had recently been remodeled and it had a modern design that incorporated the history of the area. They had these amazing photos of underground coal mining throughout the hotel, which was really interesting to see. The staff members were incredibly friendly and accommodating. They went above and beyond to make sure I had a great experience. The hotel was also conveniently located, making it easy to explore both Carbondale and Honesdale.

The basic amenities provided were all in great condition, including the rooms which were very clean and well-maintained.
