Gorgeous views of the bay and small beach from terrace and pool area. Saltwater pool is nice. Staff is friendly and accommodating, and the hotel supports local youth employment. Enjoyed relaxing in the sunrooms and on the deck. The hotel has a charming old Long Island feel. Homemade granola is a tasty treat.

The staff, mostly from Ireland and the UK, were incredibly friendly, courteous, and helpful, making us feel right at home. The hotel itself exuded charm and history, with old-fashioned room keys and other delightful artifacts. The accommodations were spotlessly clean, and the bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a quiet and restful night's sleep. The full breakfast buffet was a treat, with a wide variety of options to choose from.

If you're looking for a relaxing vacation without high expectations for entertainment and dining, The Pridwin in Shelter Island is the perfect place. Despite small rooms and outdated furniture, it was one of my best vacations. The lack of people and peaceful atmosphere made it a great getaway. The pool was warm and clean, and the beach, while rocky, offered beautiful views. Renting a boat from Peconic Water Sports was amazing and worth every penny. The staff, although lacking in management, were pleasant. The homemade breakfast and Alvin's granola were delicious.

We stayed at The Pridwin for a few nights and loved every moment. The view from our room was breathtaking, overlooking the private beach, docks, and the bay. The room was clean and had a nice retro touch, with subway tiles and black & white hexagon floor tiles in the bathroom. The hotel had a perfect low-key and sophisticated vibe, with friendly staff who made us feel like family. The 4th of July BBQ on the front lawn was a highlight of our stay. Reserving a room at The Pridwin is now a tradition for our family's summer travels.

I recently had a wonderful stay at a charming hotel on a beautiful island. The room I stayed in had an updated bathroom with a lovely, timeless subway tile design. The best part was the hot shower with excellent water pressure - it was so relaxing. The hotel itself had beautiful and clean common areas, and the staff was excellent. The value for the end-of-summer special rate was amazing, especially considering the BBQ night and breakfast included in the package. The hotel hosted a BBQ party with a live band, and it was a great atmosphere with families, couples, and hotel guests all enjoying themselves. I had a fantastic experience and will definitely be returning every summer. I highly recommend this hotel.

The breakfast included in the rate was a nice perk and gave me a good start to the day. the location of the hotel was also great as it was situated in a quiet area, away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Plus, the view from the dining deck was absolutely stunning and added to the overall experience.

There were a few aspects of my stay that I didn't enjoy. the noise levels in the hotel were unbearable at times.

We had a really nice stay at this hotel. the staff was amazing and very friendly. the location was perfect, just a few steps away from the water and many restaurants. We loved the complimentary champagne and oysters offered on Saturday, and the pool had a beautiful view.
