The location of this hotel was the key for us to see what the Northeast scenery has to offer. The surrounding views were gorgeous and added to the overall charm of our stay. The service provided by the staff was exceptional. From check-in to check-out, they were friendly, attentive, and went above and beyond to ensure our needs were met. The rooms, although not ready at 4 pm upon arrival, were very comfortable. The beds were cozy and the pull-out sofa was perfect for our teenaged daughter. We appreciated the blend of comfort and historic charm that the hotel offered.

The breakfast experience was not as extensive as it should have been for the price. More variety would have been nice to have, especially considering the cost of the buffet.

The linens and towels were high quality, and the room was well-lit with fast and easily accessible wifi. The hotel's location inside the US Military Academy at West Point, with the Hudson River at its back, is picturesque and perfect for any West Point activities. Zulu, the rooftop bar, was a nice bonus.

Despite the cost of the rooms being slightly outside of our budget, the opportunity to be surrounded by such rich history, the presence of the cadets, and the breathtaking views of the Hudson made it all worth it.
