My recent stay at a riverfront cabin was an absolute dream. The cabin itself was beautifully decorated, clean, and incredibly comfortable. The serene bush setting by the river created a peaceful atmosphere that allowed me to truly relax. I was delighted by the sight of little Blue Wrens and other birds in the trees. The owners were friendly and went above and beyond to ensure that my stay was enjoyable. it was a wonderful weekend getaway that I would highly recommend.

Amazing location with plenty of platypi sightings in the morning. Recommended swimming spots in the river. Effective air conditioning in the cottage. Homely and thoughtful touches such as honey from their bees and lovely lotions in the bathroom. Spectacular birdlife with constant activity on the deck. Well-equipped kitchen and BBQ facilities. Comfortable bed for a restful sleep. Friendly and responsive staff providing great information about the area and things to do.

A magical tree change!! We had the most amazing swims in the cool flowing river just below our cabin. The rush of the rapids tickled our ears. The serenity is amazing. The food hampers were absolutely fantastic. I highly recommend this place for a magical getaway.

We loved the peaceful and secluded location near the river and beautiful bushland. The cottage was well-equipped and nicely furnished. It was a great place to relax and unwind. We also enjoyed the BBQ on the verandah.

We felt very comfortable during our stay and the hosts were always helpful. Nothing was too much trouble.

We had a blast exploring the Barrington Tops and the bush walks in the national parks. The Glouster area and surrounding parks were perfect for bike riders like us. Highly recommend Barrington Hideaway for its amazing views, walks, and proximity to Glouster for coffee.

I recently stayed at a hidden gem on the banks of the river. It was a peaceful and private getaway. The owners were friendly and the cottage was well-equipped with everything we needed, including a fully stocked kitchen and comfortable bedding. We stayed at the beautiful Barrington Hideaway- River Cottage for a relaxing weekend getaway. The cabin was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The highlight was definitely the large bonfire pit, where we enjoyed dinner and spent the evening under the stars. The location and views were stunning, overlooking the Barrington River and farmland. The host, Sue, was always available and helpful. We highly recommend this place for a wonderful break.
