I stayed at City Palms in Cairns for 3 nights and had a fantastic experience. The staff, especially the manager, were incredibly friendly and helpful. They made check-in easy, even when I arrived after hours. The complimentary breakfast in the lounge was outstanding, with fresh scones and delicious "Nespresso" coffee. The property was very quiet, and the staff offered great tour recommendations and even a 10% discount. The location was a short and pleasant walk to the esplanade area.

Inconsistent hot water in showers.

We recently stayed at this hotel and had a great experience. The location here makes it easy to get to the shops around the downtown area. We loved the 24-hour security and the staff at the reception desk were very helpful with any questions we had. The outdoor swimming pool area was a nice place to relax and the sun terrace provided a great view. The flat-screen TV in the room was a great bonus and we appreciated the electric kettle to make tea. we highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable stay with a great location.
