I had a wonderful stay at the Coniston Hotel. The room was beautifully decorated with local artwork and had a spacious walk-in shower. The mini fridge and iron were convenient amenities. The small touches like having TimTams and a variety of tea and coffee options made me feel welcome. The room was quiet and I only heard some outside noise from the street a couple of times. The location right across from the train station was very convenient for exploring Wollongong and getting to Sydney. The bistro downstairs was a great option for a quick and delicious meal. There was plenty of on-site parking available, which was a relief for someone like me who struggles with parking. The hotel also had a lift, making it accessible for those with mobility needs. I had a fantastic experience and would highly recommend the Coniston Hotel for a comfortable and convenient stay.

That the hotel is a little bit out of the central area of Wollongong, which meant a 25-minute walk or a $10 Uber ride to get there. Other than that, everything was perfect.

They helped us set up and even assisted in choosing the perfect decorations. The room was stunning, with a modern and beautiful design. It was everything we could have asked for. The hotel also had a great bar and restaurant, serving delicious food. The location was convenient, with a bakery and news agency nearby. We also enjoyed the wonderful view from the top of the street.

We got a fair daily rate, the room was clean and spacious, and the hotel staff were friendly and nice which made our stay more comfortable. Parking was a bonus as it was free and easy to find. The location was not bad, and we were able to easily drive to the city which was a short distance away.

We were given incorrect information on check-in times and check-out times which was misleading. We were told we could check in early and later check out but when we arrived and checked out, we were unable to do so.

Clean, comfortable rooms with renovated decor. Great pillows. Friendly and helpful staff. Convenient location with off-street parking. Nice pub-style meals available.
