The location of the cottages is perfect, with easy access to the beach, shops, and restaurants. The cottages are nestled in a forest setting, providing a beautiful and peaceful atmosphere. The cabins are well-equipped with kitchenettes and have clean and comfortable interiors. Guests can enjoy the balcony with its stunning views and the opportunity to see parrots and cockatoos up close. The staff, particularly Paki, go above and beyond to ensure a pleasant stay.

The phone system may not accept calls from unknown numbers, causing inconvenience for guests trying to inform the hotel of their late arrival.

Great cottages, kids loved the beds on the mezzanine floor. Excellent location, walking distance to everything in town including the beach. The host, Paki, was incredibly helpful and went above and beyond. Highly recommended for families on a budget.

Our stay at GRO Cottages was delightful. The cottage was clean, tidy, and had a comfortable bed. The kitchen, although basic, suited our needs as we preferred to eat out. The balcony offered a nice view of the surrounding greenery, allowing us to enjoy the peaceful sounds of birdsong and rainfall. Paki, our host, was incredibly friendly and helpful upon our arrival, making us feel welcomed and cared for. The location was perfect, right in the heart of Lorne, with easy access to cafes, restaurants, the beach, and a supermarket. We also loved being surrounded by nature and even had the pleasure of being visited by cute kookaburras. it felt like a fairytale getaway.

We had a wonderful stay at the cottages. The manager, Paki, provided exceptional service from the moment we arrived. He personally called to inform us about the early check-in and even allowed for a late checkout without any extra charge. The cottage itself, especially Cottage 2, was spacious and comfortable, with a beautiful balcony overlooking the lovely surroundings. The location was perfect, within walking distance to the beach, supermarket, and various cafes and restaurants. the experience was amazing, and we would definitely recommend Great Ocean Road Cottages to others.
