I recently had a wonderful stay at this luxurious 4-star hotel by the stunning American River. The location was perfect, with breathtaking views of the river right from my room. The food at the restaurant was overpriced, and the portions were quite small. Wi-Fi was slow and spotty.

I had the most incredible dining experience at Mercure. The new chef has truly elevated the menu, and the pork belly I had was to die for. The hotel is a hidden gem, tucked away in a quiet location with lovely staff. The surrounding wildlife added to the charm of the place. The room was spacious, clean, and had a beautiful sea view. The restaurant served top-notch food and the service was excellent. I slept like a baby during my stay.
