My recent stay at Motel On Mitchell was nothing short of fantastic. From the moment I arrived, Tabitha, the owner, made me feel incredibly welcome and ensured that all my needs were met. The room itself was spacious and well-equipped, with a large fridge and stove top that allowed me to cook my own meals. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the bathroom was clean and had a nice-sized bath. The motel's location was perfect, just a short walk away from shops and the strand. I would highly recommend Motel On Mitchell to anyone looking for a great place to stay in town.

I did notice one minor issue during my stay - there was a cockroach in the room. While this was a bit off-putting, I understand that it can happen sometimes.

The friendly neighbors and front stoop chairs made for enjoyable moments of relaxation. we had a fantastic experience and will definitely be recommending this motel to our friends.

Spacious and beautifully styled rooms. Adored the bathroom tiles and the lovely towels. Appreciated the kind gesture of chocolates and additional toiletries. Fantastic location, walking distance to the strand, restaurants, and shops. Easy arrival with clear communication and pin code for key. Bonus points for providing a hairdryer, which is often missing in hotels nowadays.

I was traveling for work and had been away from home for nearly a week, obviously missing hubby and feeling a bit homesick and over hotels. Motel on Mitchell was so inviting from the get go, from the owner Tabitha sending me a text on the morning of check in to let me know where everything was, to the HUGE and comfortable bed, and the TV already set up with Netflix! Even the little things like having reusable bottles for shampoo and conditioner and tea and coffee, makes even the most basic of tasks feel not so sterile, and like you at home rather than staying in a hotel room. The hotel is in a great location just behind The Watermark on the Strand, so I had a two minute walk to an amazing dinner, and in the morning I was able to take a long walk along the Strand and find a lovely place for breakfast. I will definitely stay here again next time, either for work or with the family. 100% recommend this hotel.
