The cottages at Tanunda were a delightful country escape that exceeded my expectations. From the moment I stepped through the door, I was greeted with a warm and cozy atmosphere. The fully self-contained cottage had everything I needed for a comfortable stay, including a well-equipped kitchen with all the essentials and even provisions for a champagne breakfast. The bathroom was spacious, and the natural soaps and scents added a luxurious touch. The bedrooms were beautifully decorated, and the master bed with its 11 pillows and electric blankets ensured a restful night's sleep. I also appreciated the cottage's close proximity to the center of Tanunda, making it convenient to explore the area.

Although my stay was nearly perfect, there were a few minor inconveniences. Additionally, the air conditioning unit in my room was old and noisy, making it less effective in cooling the space.

Great continental breakfast selection, clean and tastefully decorated cottages. Easy access with lockbox, on-site parking, and short walk to town centre. Heated bedrooms and gas fireplace upon arrival, plus complimentary bottle of bubbles. Coffee machine and nearby Foodland for convenience. Looking forward to returning to the lovely Barossa region.

We had a fantastic stay in a charming and historic cottage right on the main street of a beautiful town. It was easy to explore the local cafes, dining, and cellar doors, and the well-stocked kitchen made it convenient to enjoy meals at home. The comfy bed and cozy living room with a gas fireplace made it a perfect spot to relax after a day of exploring. The provided breakfast provisions and bottle of sparkling on arrival were a lovely touch.

The aircon in the bedroom was a bit noisy and not very effective, but a fan was provided as an alternative.

Value for money was excellent, the room was clean and comfortable. The location was convenient and the staff were friendly and attentive.

The breakfast menu could benefit from a wider variety of options.

The breakfast offered was lovely and generously stocked, even including orange juice and bubbles in the fridge. The beds were quite comfortable and the facilities were of good quality. In terms of atmosphere, the place had an old-world charm and a pretty garden area.

We were awoken quite early by the gardener who was mowing the lawn and using the weed blower till 10 am, which made our morning less peaceful than we had hoped. , access to electrical outlets in the kitchen was quite limited.

We appreciated the well-stocked kitchen and the abundance of breakfast foods provided. we would definitely recommend this place for a quiet and enjoyable getaway.
