The location of the hotel is great, with the beach, pub, and cafes just a minute's walk away. The rooms are clean and well appointed, and the pool and garden are beautiful. The hosts, Rob and Jen, are friendly and prompt to assist with any issues. Guests can enjoy the convenience of having a water hose and hanger next to the room for washing gear after diving and snorkelling. The pool is perfect for a short dip and relaxation.

The Wi-Fi sometimes didn't work.

Exceptional welcome! From the moment I arrived at Tropical Palms Resort, I was greeted by Rob and Jen, two wonderful hosts who went above and beyond to make me feel welcome. They truly made my stay unforgettable, and I ended up extending it for another night. The resort itself is a hidden gem on Magnetic Island, with exceptional people and hosts. I can't wait to come back!

The beach was incredible, with stinger nets and great places to eat nearby. Another great aspect was the walks from the location that offered beautiful views. The rooms were clean and comfortable, with all of the key amenities including a stove top and a fridge.

The weather, but that's just a part of being in this beautiful location. However, it is definitely worth a visit during summer to escape the colder southern states.
