We recently stayed at a tastefully renovated heritage home in a great downtown location. The Sycamore room was cozy, clean, and beautifully decorated. We loved the enclosed veranda, which provided a perfect balance of privacy and a view. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the owners were lovely, living on-site and ensuring every aspect of our stay was top-notch. The location was ideal, close to shops, cafes, and restaurants, yet quiet enough to enjoy a peaceful night's sleep. The staff was welcoming and helpful, even providing great tips for hiking and dining. Highly recommended!

Loved the location for exploring Nelson's shops and restaurants. The old house had a beautiful heritage feel and was tastefully decorated. Parking at the rear was convenient. Friendly hosts made us feel welcome.

We recently stayed at a lovely hotel in a great location. It was within easy walking distance of many fantastic restaurants and shops, making it convenient for our family with two small kids. The room we stayed in was clean, cozy, and had a comfortable bed with oversized bath towels. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our stay was enjoyable, offering friendly and accommodating service. The breakfast was delicious, with homemade maple granola that we couldn't resist. it was a delightful experience with several thoughtful facilities and advantages.

The lack of a bar on site, but with the abundance of nearby options, it wasn't a significant issue.

The rooms are comfortable, with spacious bathrooms and friendly service. Guests can enjoy the convenience of a small kitchenette and the charm of a covered veranda or a large outdoor deck. The hotel exudes old-world charm and has tasteful decor.

Some guests may find the stairs to the property a bit challenging.

Our stay at Cloudside Hotel was exceptional! The rooms were impeccably clean and beautifully designed. The bed was incredibly comfortable, making it hard to leave in the morning. The staff were incredibly accommodating, even when we arrived late. The parking situation was well organized, and they made sure our vehicle was secure. I highly recommend this hotel for a wonderful and comfortable stay.

I absolutely loved my stay at Cloudside Hotel! The curb appeal was fantastic, the rooms were beautiful, and the location was perfect for walking everywhere. The staff were super friendly and gave great advice. Plus, there's an amazing coffee shop at the end of the street!

cloudside was even better than our previous stay in nelson. the location is perfect, close to everything we wanted to do. the hotel is well maintained, staff are friendly, and the room was spacious and comfortable. highly recommend for a honeymoon!

We had an awesome romantic escape at this charming hotel! The complimentary wine and chocolates in our room added a special touch to our stay. The location was perfect, allowing us to easily explore the downtown area and enjoy the beautiful views of the lake. Plus, we appreciated the convenience of the free street parking and the ease of unloading our luggage from the back entrance.

The lack of available parking in the downtown area. It was a bit of a challenge to find a parking spot and we had to move our car a few times to avoid getting a ticket.
