My stay at the lovely accommodation in the Dominican Republic was truly outstanding. The breakfast terrace offered stunning views of the picturesque bay and town, just a short walk from the beach. The breakfast spread, featuring fresh fruits, delicious banana jam, and toast, was both tasty and healthy. What truly made my experience exceptional was the incredible owners, Kristen and Alex. Kristen personally took me around on her motorbike, giving me insider tips on the best local snorkeling spot. Alex went above and beyond to ensure I had a fantastic time scuba diving and even extended my stay when I needed flexibility. The adorable pets, including iguanas and a friendly dog named Zion, added to the charm of this place. I especially appreciated the clean and well-equipped room, complete with air conditioning, a refrigerator, and daily fresh towels and sheets. This is undoubtedly my favorite place to stay in the Dominican Republic.

The hotel is in the center of the village so everything is within a five-minute walk including shops and beaches. The rooms are kept pristinely clean, and we had a balcony for which we paid the same amount. The breakfast served on the rooftop terrace had great views and fresh fruit.

Villa Iguana in Bayahibe was a welcoming and homely hotel. The rooftop terrace and pool offered fantastic views of the town and were a great spot for breakfast. The staff were passionate and attentive, making our stay enjoyable. It felt like staying with a large family, with separate rooms in a villa. Our room had a balcony overlooking part of the town and was well-maintained. The hotel was located in a safe area and had a locking front gate for added security. Evenings at the bar and pool area on the top floor were filled with music, dancing, and friendly conversations with people from different backgrounds.

The room was unexpectedly upgraded to a spacious flat, complete with two bedrooms, a big bathroom, and a fully equipped kitchen. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The location was perfect, just a short walk from the beach, restaurants, and shops. The hotel had a welcoming atmosphere, making it feel like a home away from home.

The staff at the bar/breakfast area on the roof were friendly. The room was functional and had good storage space. Ryan, one of the owners, was a fantastic host. The pool, despite the back area needing some organization, was enjoyable. I would highly recommend this hotel.

We had a truly pleasant stay at the hotel in Bayahibe. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and the rooms were comfortable with all the necessary amenities. The location was perfect, being close to the beach and within walking distance of bars, restaurants, and a mini-market. The highlight of our stay was the delicious breakfast on the rooftop terrace, where we could enjoy the view of the town while indulging in fresh fruits and homemade marmalade. The passion and dedication of the staff made our experience at Villa Iguana truly special.
