We had a fantastic time at Chateau De Villars! Our stay was for three nights and it was the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The owners, Bill and Emma, were incredibly kind and accommodating. The chateau itself is charming and the property is absolutely beautiful. We loved exploring the little village with its Renaissance chateau, prehistoric cave, and ruined abbey. The food at the hotel was excellent, and the terrace at sunset was truly magical. Highly recommended!

The rooms are tastefully furnished and the beds are large and comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. The service provided by the hosts is exceptional, with guests made to feel at home and taken care of throughout their stay. The breakfast options are varied and delicious, catering to different dietary requirements such as gluten-free. the hotel offers a range of facilities and advantages, including a gluten-free kitchen and helpful staff who can assist with arranging trips.

There was one aspect of the hotel that could be improved upon, but it was overshadowed by the overall positive experience.

Our stay at Chateau De Villars was absolutely wonderful! We stayed for five nights and enjoyed every moment. The warm welcome and exceptional hospitality were truly second to none. The breakfast, which was only 10 euros, was one of the best I have ever experienced, truly deserving a 5-star plus rating. The well-appointed room and incredibly comfortable bed made for a restful night's sleep. The location of the hotel was superb - quiet, yet convenient for exploring the attractions of Perigord verte.

Can't recommend this hotel highly enough.
