Fell into the real 17th century spirit. Loved the independent access, 18th-century House of Pirates, and the beach. Couldn't resist taking a walk on the ramparts and pretending I was a swashbuckling pirate.

Wasn't a fan of the tidal wave that connected the building to the rest of the land in the 8th century.

The value for the money was great, with a comfortable and quiet room. The hotel's location was excellent, right inside the walls but still peaceful, and the staff were friendly and helpful during our stay.

The breakfast option could have been improved. The juice and coffee lacked flavor and the towels were thin and rough.

I had a fantastic experience at Elizabeth Hotel. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate my visually impaired partner, showing great kindness and assistance. We were pleasantly surprised to find parking available for our motorbike, which was a definite bonus. The hotel's location was perfect for exploring the charming old town, allowing us to easily visit the walled city, harbour, and marina. Additionally, they provided promotional literature for a free English walking tour, which we found to be invaluable.

The rooms in the owners house are spacious and comfortable, with all the amenities required for a comfortable stay. Great Location right inside the old town, perfect for exploring and admiring the beautiful architecture. Rooms were spacious and comfortable with a lovely ensuite. Staff were friendly and recommended some excellent restaurants to us. We also enjoyed the free parking and the breakfast was decent.
