Lovely alpine hotel, welcoming staff, tasteful design, extensive menu, delicious food, excellent location.

The location of the hotel was perfect, right in the centre of the village. We were able to explore the shops, restaurants, and banks all within walking distance. Additionally, the hotel had a small outdoor beer garden right in front, which was a great place to relax and enjoy a drink. The staff provided excellent service and our room was clean and comfortable, with a private bathroom. The breakfast was fantastic, with a variety of choices to suit everyone's taste. our stay was enjoyable and convenient, and we even had the opportunity to go on a great hike at the nearby Leutaschklamm gorge.

The hotel could benefit from adding a coffee or tea maker in the rooms.

Delicious breakfast buffet with a variety of meats, cheeses, and breads. Enjoyed dinner both outside on the patio and inside with live music. Friendly staff, comfortable and clean room with a lovely Bavarian feel. Convenient parking on the property. Beautiful historic building.

We were lucky to stay at a charming 13th century home in a picturesque town near the Bavarian Alps. The Alpenrose had a warm and welcoming atmosphere, with a friendly hostess and a large dining room where we enjoyed a superb dinner. The hotel room was comfortable, with a heavenly bed and a clean bathroom. We were impressed by the neatness and cleanliness of the entire property, and the added touch of a sauna. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate our needs, even offering us free use of a PC with DSL access. The Alpenrose truly made us feel welcomed and treated us like royalty. We highly recommend this magical dreamhouse in Mittenwald.

We especially loved the small balconies that offered beautiful views of the Bavarian Alps.

The breakfast was a standout, and there were plenty of options to choose from. The location was also great, as it was situated in the heart of the main shopping area and a 5-minute walk from the train station. the room was clean and had a comfortable bed.

Unfortunately during my stay, some of the attractions that I had visited were not included on the discount card provided by the hotel. This was a small inconvenience.
