The breakfast and cake at 5pm were really delicious. The staff was friendly and the facilities were amazing. The location was also perfect, with key attractions easily accessible. Another advantage was the spacious kitchen where one could cook comfortably.

barbara's boutique hostel in antigua exceeded my expectations. the building was beautifully designed, with a cozy living room and a rooftop terrace with a stunning view of volcano agua. the kitchen was huge and functional, perfect for cooking. overall, it felt like a home rather than a hostel.

The highlight of our stay was definitely the rooftop, which had a lovely room and great sport equipment. The kitchen was also a standout feature - it was the best hostel kitchen we've ever seen! The staff were friendly and attentive, with a special shoutout to Jose for being so kind and helpful. the cleanliness, hotel facilities, location, and staff were all top-notch.

There was nothing I didn't like.

I recently stayed at a hostel in Guatemala that felt more like a luxurious boutique hotel. The staff treated me like family and the communication prior to and during my stay was excellent. The dorms and bathrooms were spotless, with each bunk equipped with curtains, lights, and charging facilities. The location was perfect, close to everything. The hostel also had a fabulous kitchen, comfortable seating areas, and even provided filtered water. It truly felt like a home away from home.

The breakfast area was a bit small, causing some congestion when the hostel was full. It would be better if they set up the breakfast on a larger counter to allow for more space and easier movement.

The cleanliness of the hostel is top-notch, with the rooms being spacious and well-equipped with individual fan, light, shelf, and curtains for each bed. The common area is also very nice, providing plenty of spaces to relax and chill. The well-equipped kitchen and included breakfast are additional bonuses.

The common PC was slow, but it's not a deal breaker as you can bring your own device for work purposes.
