great hostel, clean, friendly staff, perfect location.

Misleading ads.

The location of this hostel was great! It was right near a famous church and a fabulous swimming pool, making it easy to explore and relax. The room was also quite large and the beds were very comfy, ensuring a good night's sleep. the toilets and showers were clean and well-maintained.

I had a few negative experiences during my stay. the lack of communication was frustrating.

my stopover in reykjavik was fabulous, but B47 exceeded all expectations. incredible central location, everything within walking distance. spacious kitchens, clean showers, and friendly staff provided excellent service. an unforgettable experience!

Wi-fi connection was weak

We had an absolutely perfect stay at B47. We stayed for a total of 3/4 nights on different occasions and everything was lovely! The staff was incredibly attentive and made us feel at home. The breakfast was delicious and the happy hour was a great benefit. The facilities were excellent and the location was very convenient, close to the main attractions. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

The kitchen facilities are well-equipped, allowing guests to prepare their own meals. the hostel features unique and colorful artwork throughout its halls, adding to its aesthetic appeal.

Some areas of the hostel are in need of repairs and could benefit from additional staff.

The location of the hotel is very convenient, with many tourist sites within walking distance. The famous church is just a 2-minute walk away. The hotel itself is spacious and recently renovated, with comfortable beds and excellent heating. The kitchens are well-equipped, and there is a dining area where you can order basic fare. The staff is friendly and accommodating, even checking in guests past midnight. The bathrooms and shower cubicles are clean, and there is even a small bistro on-site. Plus, the tap water is drinkable, saving guests from buying water from stores.

The shared bathrooms can sometimes be occupied for a significant amount of time.

our stay at b47 was incredible. after a disappointing previous stay in reykjavik, we were pleasantly surprised by the spacious room with a great view. the shared kitchen was a money-saving bonus, and the staff was super nice. highly recommended!

All was perfect.

We had a fantastic stay at B47! The host was incredibly welcoming, creating a positive and friendly atmosphere. The added bonus of having a café inside the hostel was convenient, and we felt completely safe with the 24-hour access to the building and our room. The blinds in the room were a lifesaver, blocking out all sunlight and allowing us to rest peacefully. We also loved having a sink in our room, and the shared bathroom just across the hallway was always clean. The location was perfect, close to bus stops, a swimming pool, and a tall church. We will definitely be returning to B47 in the future!

Nothing I didn't like to be fair.

b47 was everything i hoped for during my long stay in Reykjavik. the staff went above and beyond to make me feel at home, even bringing me dinner and medicine when i was sick. the location was perfect, close to the center and bus terminal, and the hotel was clean and comfortable. i'm definitely coming back!

Breakfast options could be better.

The bathrooms and shower cubicles were clean, and there was even a small bistro on-site. The hostel also had a system for accessing the premises using pin codes, making it secure. I highly recommend B47 for its convenient location, cleanliness, and welcoming atmosphere.

Not obvious to find.

I recently stayed at Hostel B47 for a few nights during my trip to Iceland. The location was perfect, only a short walk from downtown and public transportation. The hostel had a charming atmosphere with cute artwork and decor. The beds were cozy and the entire place was impeccably clean. The staff was friendly and always available to help. The kitchen had everything I needed to cook my meals, and there was even luggage storage available. I had a great experience and would definitely stay at B47 again.
