We had a great stay at Clayton Hotel! The room was clean and nicely decorated, and the short walk to the city was perfect for us. The hotel breakfast was lovely, and the staff, especially the friendly and helpful female receptionist, were wonderful. We highly recommend staying here!

Additionally, the hotel offers great amenities such as a pool and gym, making it perfect for whatever activities you have planned in this vibrant city.

We were asked if we wanted tea or coffee but it never arrived, and when we asked another staff member they only brought one pot of tea for three people. We also requested fried eggs which never arrived, and the staff didn't bother clearing our plates.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The staff were incredibly helpful and accommodating, especially when we needed to change rooms due to my pregnant sister's fear of lifts. The view over the water was delightful and the rooms were perfect.

The staff at the front desk were incredibly helpful and solved an issue with my room quickly and efficiently. The service here is top-notch, with room service, laundry, and dry cleaning available. The restaurant staff are friendly and go above and beyond for their customers.

I did find that the windows in the room didn't close properly, allowing a bit of a draft to come in. Also, breakfast was an additional £10 if you wanted it in your room.

The room itself was clean and well-appointed, with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The staff were friendly and accommodating, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The location of the hotel was also a big plus, with easy access to nearby attractions and amenities.

We loved the location of this hotel. It was only a few minutes away from the main town centre and right on the riverfront. We enjoyed the room service here as well as the dry cleaning and laundry services. The room amenities, such as the ironing facilities, air conditioning, and tea and coffee facilities were excellent. We also appreciated the sitting area and the terrace, where we could relax and take in the view of the river.

We did notice that some of the furniture looked quite old. The reception desk could have been more presentable, especially the female receptionist who seemed a bit unfriendly.
