Driving up to the house, it was stunning! Inside, a lot of the old furniture, artwork, and decor were breathtaking. The house had a calm, happy, inviting atmosphere. Staff and owners were friendly and accommodating. The food was delicious, we had a vegetarian breakfast. I had a lovely chat with Penn. The view and gardens were simply beautiful! It was the best vacation in ages. There were 4 lovely, quiet cats which stayed outside of the house at all times.

Free drinks and Wi-Fi connection were a plus. The location was close to the beach and had a beautiful view of nature. , enjoying a delicious hot breakfast before heading out was very convenient for us.

The location of the hotel is a bit out of the way, but the narrow winding roadway adds to its charm. Once you arrive, you'll be rewarded with stunning views of the bay and a lovely little beach just 200m down the road. The gardens surrounding the hotel are a true delight, with water features, meadows, dinosaur sculptures, a waterfall. Be sure to reserve a couple of hours to walk through the gardens and take in the serene atmosphere.
